As you know, July started a new Masonic year and a new line of officers, including myself as Worshipful Master. One of the challenges I hope to accomplish this year is to get some of the brethren, who we have not seen in a while, back to Lodge.
I hope to accomplish this through a new program concerning our stated meetings and the food committees.
As in the past, each officer of the Lodge will be responsible for the stated meeting dinner one month of the year with this change. The membership roster has been divided up into equal shares for each month.
Those brethren whose names have been chosen for that month are responsible for assisting the officer with dinner that month. This assistance may be in the form of helping to prepare the meal, serving the meal, assisting with the cleanup after the meal, or a monitorial donation to assist with the meal.
This program is intended to get all of our members back to our Lodge during this year. If for some reason you can not attend you assigned month, please contact the officer in charge of the meal that month and see if you can assist in some other manner.
If you know of anyone else who has not been to Lodge for a while, bring them along with you.
